Saudis urge a boycott of Danish goods by SMS

The Mercury News reports on a boycott of Danish goods spreading in Islamic countries by SMS.

The outburst of anger in Islamic countries was caused by a leading Danish newspaper's publishing a series of caricatures of the prophet Muhammad. "Islamic tradition bars any depiction of the prophet, even respectful ones, out of concern that such images could lead to idolatry."
