Poll shows one-fifth of Czechs do not own cell phone

Some 22 percent of Czechs older than 15 years still do not have a mobile phone, reports the Prague Daily Monitor.

" The poll carried out for Czech mobile carrier T-Mobile has revealed that mobiles are least used among people above 70 years of age. Only two-fifths of people in this age category use a cell phone, the paper writes.

The use of mobiles among teenagers who are between 15 and 19 years old is surprisingly scarce, also because young people often have little money, operators have said. "
