Cell Phone Bandits Speak Out After Pleading Guilty

NY11211151209-small.jpgThe so-called cell phone bandits say they’re sorry for what they’ve done. Dave Williams and Candice Martinez have spoken out for the first time since pleading guilty to robbing four banks in Northern Virginia. Williams said they used cell phones during the robberies so he could stay informed on Martinez’ progress. So now we know.

"Dave Williams tells The Washington Post that he doesn't understand why people even make such a big deal out of the cell phone.

Martinez says she feels like she ruined her life and will live with regret forever. Williams says there was no particular reason Martinez didn't conceal her face. He says, "That was just our stupidity." [via All Headline News]
