There are now as many mobile phones in Málaga as there are people
The province is expected to have one and a half million mobile phone lines by the end of the year, according to Typically Spanish.
"The official population of Málaga province is 1,435,409 people. Forecasts say that there will be 1 million 500,000 mobile phone lines in Málaga by the end of the year, a proportion of more than one hundred percent.
The average percentage nationwide is 93.4 percent, which puts Spain in fourth place in the world for the number of mobile phones per capita".
