SMS date ends in gang-rape for teen

Something to remind teenagers about: the dangers of texting strangers.

A 16 year-old student who responded to an SMS from a stranger, was raped by him and six others until she lost consciousness, according to the The Malaysia Star.

The 16-year-old had received the SMS at about 10pm on Oct 13 while returning to her house in Taman Ria from her part-time job as a sundry shop assistant.

She responded out of curiosity and agreed to meet up with the youth at a telephone booth that night. "
