An SMS donation line has been set up for Pakistan earthquake victims
An sms donation line has been set up for the Pakistan earthquake victims, reports SABC News. "By sending the word 'Pakistan' to the number 42220, people can now donate R30 (50 cents) towards relief operations in the quake-ravaged country, according to the South Africa Pakistan-Khashmir Earthquake Relief Effort Team.
"Tens of thousands of people are still without shelter amid cold weather in the north-eastern Kashmir district. The death toll in the country is now believed to be 38 000."
