Ericsson and Nokia promote new mobile frequency band

Ericsson and Nokia are promoting the use of a new digital mobile frequency band to make sure operators can reach all mobile users, reports Computer Weekly.

"The pair are encouraging operators to adopt the 450MHz band for their mobile networks, to enable them to cheaply reach users in mobile black spots, particularly in rural areas."
