Welltone Unveils Portable Phone To Use Skype Free Internet Phone

0510116.jpg Welltone Co. will market a portable phone as of October 14, that enables people to make free Internet phone calls between computers by utilizing the Skype Internet telephony software.

The phone, dubbed Welltone Skype Phone, is equipped with a 64-megabyte NAND flash memory with built-in software necessary for utilizing the Japanese version of Skype. When it is connected to a USB terminal in a personal computer linked with the Internet, the software starts automatically.
