What a Fuel cell looks like

fuelcell.jpg This story has bee in the news, but it's the first time I've seen what a fuel cell actually looks like, courtesy of the BBC.

"Japanese mobile giant KDDI displays a prototype of a Hitachi mobile powered by a direct methanol fuel cell (DMFC).

It has a felt pen style methanol cartridge that converts methane to power. DMFCs that cleanly power consumer electronics devices are predicted to be more widespread in a couple of years' time."
