Mobile Phone Document Viewer to Display E-Mail Attachments

NEC Corp has announced that it has developed a mobile phone document viewer, which enables quick display of e-mail attachments, even those comprising rich media content, such as images and charts, on a user's mobile phone. [via NEAsia]

"Through its utilization, office documents can be viewed outside the office at a quality equivalent to that on a desktop PC. This technology can also be used to view manuals or magazines.

Viewing of digital e-mail attachments is realized when the phone is within the service area."
