Fursicle Safurry: An adventure through the wilderness of telecommunications.

f2.jpg This is really wild! and no pun intended. Fursicle Safurry, by By Dana Karwas and Liubo Borissov, invites people to enter a space of make-belief adventure through the wilderness of telecommunications.

Unwittingly they transform from hunters to the hunted, from observers to the subjects of the experience.

The Adventure:

The user begins the safari by calling the fursicle with their cell phones. Upon calling the user will receive a password that is composed of animal sounds such as gerrrs, wooww, barks, cries, and meaows.
Prompted by the voice on the phone the user is asked if they want to MATE, KILL, or RUN with the fursicle. Desiring as they choose, the user will be guided by instructions from the voice on the phone.

...Cameras and mics are capturing the experience of each user. THe captured media is stored and time stamped in a database which is also tied to the time of the phone call. "
