Medgadget reports about a new device from South Africa protects infants against crib death, or Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS).
The Respisense Buzz, designed and patented by Pretoria IT engineer Hans Pietersen, was made to protect babies against cot death by triggering a cellphone vibrator motor inside their nappies when sensors detect that breathing has stopped for 15 seconds.
