Shaken Baby Syndrome Monitor
Shaking a child can cause blindness, motor function handicaps - and if not treated in a matter of days - death. The syndrome is called Shaken Baby Syndrome.
To reduce frustration - the main trigger for SBS - Eschel Jacobsen as designed a gadget that informs the caretaker about how much a child normally cries, it tells what to do when the child won't stop crying and if shaken hard, it calls a doctor or parents using SMS. [via Yanko Design]
In all honesty, I can't tell if this is a just design, or a real product that works. I hope so.
