Goldfrapp uses mobile content to promote new album
British band Goldfrapp will promote their new album with mobile content downloads.
The band will use the Hypertag's Hyperstore m-commerce application, which lets fans download live updates and content directly to their mobile phones. This application can be sent to a phone via mobile networks or through a Hypertag in an advertising poster. It works as a branded browser which allows users to access new content via WAP
The Goldfrapp Hyperstore will be made available to fans by texting the shortcode 80004 or via Hypertags at selected Goldfrapp gigs. Once downloaded, users can view live and updated content on their mobiles, including tour dates, lyrics and album track listings, and competitions.
