America Online Gets Personal with AOLMobile.com

AOL aims to reach more mobile users with the official launch of AOL Mobile, a part-storefront, part-download site that gives visitors easy access to AOL Mobile software, in addition to ringtones, phones and several how-to sections. A version of the site has been in public beta for a few weeks. [via PC Magazine]

"The new AOLMobile.com includes a My Mobile Dashboard section that allows users to sign in and manage cell phone features, such as IM forwarding.

This service will also be made available to AIM and general Web users."
