Radio poster tested in Gifu

radioposter.gifThe city of Gifu in Japan is testing the radio poster system from this month till October.

The experimental service is intended for sightseers and local residents. The radio poster system allows people to retrieve SMS messages by showing their RFID cards (or RFID-chipped wallet phones) to a poster.

You can play a stamp rally game, receive discount coupons, get information about nearby restrooms and sightseeing spots.
