SMS rumours about Prime Minister Endon's wife

For the past three days, reports the The New Straits Times, text messages were being sent all over Malaysia, creating anxiety among Malaysians genuinely concerned over the Prime Minister's wife's follow-up treatment for cancer.

"Newspaper offices were inundated with calls as this rumour took on a life of its own. Callers reacted with anger when told the SMS was baseless."
