Until now, the only way to find out if a registered sex offender was moving into your neighborhood was to go to the police department and ask, or log onto the Megan's Law Web site.

But starting tomorrow, there's someone else who will do the legwork for you and alert you if a predator is coming to your neighborhood.

Citizens can register to receive information by SMS on sex offenders moving in and out of their neighborhood on Scan USA.
