Say thanks to teachers through SMS
Instead of the usual greeting card on Teachers' Day, a Malaysian television station is recommending that kids send text messages instead, reports the New Straits Times.
"ntv7, has agreed to set aside airtime to post greetings sent via short messaging service, said Education Minister Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Husseinsend.
TV3 and RTM are also likely to offer similar arrangements until the end of the month, he said.
Teachers' Day will be marked this year with national celebrations at the Nilai Stadium on May 16."
