Text Messages become '21st Century love letter'

photo6000528.jpg A new survey found that romantic Brits now start 40 per cent of their romances with the sweet beep-beep of their phones, reports InTheNews.co.uk.

Some of the (fun) findings:

-- "One person in four would accept an SMS marriage proposal (if sent by the right network partner, of course).

-- More than a third of respondents to the survey would rather tell their partner they loved them by text than by phone,

-- One person in six spends more than an hour composing the content of a romantic text before hitting the send button,

-- Half of us keep romantic texts with one person in three saying they would be devastated to their lose their mots d'amour.

But all this effort could be wasted, as close to 45 per cent of those surveyed have misinterpreted a text at some point, and more than a couple of texts from someone we like would make us think that they fancied us, the survey found".
