Cell Phone Cheating on Driver's Test

uk_mag_260405_t.jpg Cheating by cell phone took on a new level in Spain, helping over 12'000 people to pass their drivers test.

Emma Rebaldi in yesterday's mobizode on mobuzzTV, reports that over 100 driving schools have been closed pending investigation in 19 Spanish provinces, because people taking the theory part of their driving test avec been caught cheating with the help of their mobile phones.

Apparently all you had to do was key in the reference number of the exam you were doing in the mulitple choice paper and your carefully concealed phone would vibrate once if the answer was A, twice for B, three times for C.

However it wasnt cheap, it cost the individual between $ 800 ($1'500) and 2'000 ($ 3'800) and it seems that over 12'000 fraudulent licences were issued before the operation was foiled.
