Adding colour to SMS

paa210.gif Panasonic's latest entry-level mobile phone, the A210 enables users to change the colour of their text message instead of being confined to black text.

The only catch, the recipient must also use a compatible phone to see these messages in colour, according to the Malaysia Star.

"Also available is the built-in emoticon feature which allows users to use a set of pictographic symbols to convey their feelings.

That's not all. Each received SMS will be accompanied by coloured light effects in a colour that corresponds with the emoticon".
