Verizon Announces Expanded International Roaming

Verizon subscribers can now use their phones in 11 countries beyond the US border, according to PhoneScoop.

"Previously Verizon users could not leave North America with their CDMA handset, now the carrier has signed roaming agreements with networks in Bermuda, China, Dominican Republic, Israel, Jamaica, New Zealand, Puerto Rico, South Korea, Taiwan and Venezuela as well as Canada and Mexico". Not in Europe though.
