KT Gears up for Operation in the US

Korea's largest telecom operator, KT is seeking to penetrate the US market, according to Telecoms Korea.

"A high-ranking official at KT said during a phone call on Tuesday; "We will take different approach from SK Telecom which poured huge capital into MVNO.” He emphasized, “We will enter the market, when it needs our technology, not the capital,” adding "Several US operators are steadily approaching KT about investment and cooperation, but we haven't found an appropriate partner. We don't want to be hasty.”
