Tangible computing and Touch technology
Something to keep on eye on in the future, tangible computing and touch technology applied to cell phones, as demonstrated at ETech2005.
Slides and links to notes from Chris Heathcote & Matt Jones' presentation at ETech2005.
Interesting thoughts and ideas on how interacting with computers should evolve. The work on touching devices together as a "UI" is particularly cool.
At one point in their presentation, Matt and Chris held out their phones and touched them - blip - and digitally swapped business cards.
