Seoul. 8200 Service Flags Down Taxis Via Mobile

seoultaxi.gif A new service in South Korea will allow users to flag down a cab even as its taillights recede into the distance, reports Digital Chosunilbo.

"When users call **8200 via the SK Telecom network on their cell phone, the service automatically connects them with the nearest empty cab.

A trial service should begin in Seoul with 2,000 cabs and expand the service nationwide by the end of the year".
