Newspaper Launches Murder Mystery as Mobile Game
Yet another newspaper venture into entertainment: "InQuest: The Philippine Daily Inquirer Adventure" is an SMS-based multimedia mystery game, loosely based on the TV program, CSI. [via E-Media Tidbits].
"For eight straight weeks, Inquirer readers are invited to closely follow a fictional murder case, play detective, and identify the murderer. Starting March 6, clues will be published in various sections of the Inquirer, posted on INQ7.net, and aired on Inquirer TV.
Participants also can participate in the raffle and accumulate reward points by sending their answers via SMS. (Prizes at stake are five Apple iPods, four Canon Digicams, and a shopping spree.)"
