Cell phone map debuts in Shenzhen

People in the southern Chinese boom town of Shenzhen are now able to better locate themselves by referencing a city map on their mobile phones, reports China View via Smart Mobs.

"The recent implementation of the Location Based Service or LBS has made Shenzhen the first city to offer this service in China. Clients can precisely locate themselves and easily request directions from the LBS.

The system also can help the clients find the quickest way to get to the destination".
