Mobile phone companies are ripping off holidaymakers, the European Commission claimed, reports This is London.
"It has accused Deutsche Telekom - T-Mobile's parent company - and Vodafone of anti-competitive practices over their international roaming tariffs.
If the claims are proven, the firms could be fined millions of pounds for abusing a monopoly position, an EC spokesman said. "
