SingTel lets you SMS bloggers for free
Moblog, a system developed by SingTel, does away with the need for a PC to communicate with bloggers. All a respondent needs to do is key in a response and the blogger's name in an SMS, reports IT Asia One.
SingTel's system is intelligent enough to recognise who the message is intended for and route it to the blogger. The service is free. But users need to pay MMS charges if they are sending photos.
Since it started three months ago, nearly 3,000 people have signed up. It is open to anyone, including StarHub and M1 subscribers, as long as the person has a Singapore-registered mobile phone number.
