Text message to vote in Thailand

thumb.sge.huy62.040205170551.photo00.photo.default-384x256.jpg Thailand's 25 million mobile phone customers received a polite reminder to vote in Thailand's weekend election, in a text message sent around the country, reports the AFP.

"You are cordially invited to exercise your right to vote on February 6, between 8 am and 3 pm," read the message written in Thai.

Thailand's Election Commission asked all the mobile phone companies to send the message to remind people to vote in the election.

Some 44 million Thai are eligible to vote in Sunday's election, in which Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra is expected to win a second term".
