Nepal remains cut off from the world

xinsrc_21202020116563121378.jpg It's so amazing that this can happen in today's world. From World Peace Herald.

"With communication links with the rest of the world cut for the fourth consecutive day, very little news is trickling out of Nepal.

The new administration has snapped all communication links within Nepal and with the outside world. All phones, mobile networks and Internet service providers have shut down their operations. All private radio stations are barred from broadcasting news and opinions".

According to Xinhua, the king accused the government of failing to conduct parliamentary elections and being unable restore peace in the country. He also declared a state of emergency. Armored military vehicles with mounted machine guns patrol the streets of Katmandu, the capital, and phone lines in the city have been cut.
