Seattle may bar cabbies from using cell phones while driving
A proposal likely to pass the Seattle City Council in the next couple of weeks, would bar taxi drivers from talking on cell phones while passengers are in their cars, reports seattlepi.com.
"The legislation would allow cabbies to use cell phones if there's no passenger in the taxicab."
