"Hot babes" too hot for supplement
An ad for mobile phone ringtones and wallpaper which featured photographs of topless women covering their breasts with their hands or hair was criticised by the industry watchdog today, reports Manchester Online.
"The Jamba! AG t/a Ringtoneking promotion, included in the Sun newspaper's TV magazine supplement, featured a section entitled Hot Babes.
The section, in the bottom right corner of the advert, included pictures of topless women covering their breasts, photos of women in bikinis and one larger picture, labelled Babe4393, showing a woman's naked bottom.
The complainant argued the Hot Babes section was "offensive" and "unsuitable for publication in a family magazine".
