Mobile services directory launched

James Pearce for Moco News reports on a “global SMS texting, premium rate and mobile alerts services directory" called Thumbtips.

“Apart from enabling users and providers of SMS services to have a common marketplace, the Thumbtips Digits Directory provides full keyword codes and instructions for using each service.

Consumers no longer need to make note of service details as they can search by numbers, service name, service type or geo-location for any desired service.

Service Providers now have a dedicated channel for promotion and marketing where they can upload and update their service offerings at anytime, for free.”
