KTF Reaches Elderly Customers

KTF, Korea's second-largest mobile carrier, began a program for the elderly to teach them how to use abbreviated numbers, ring tones, ring back tones and mobile banking service. Everyone interested in can sign up for the program regardless of their mobile carriers or handsets, reports Seong-ju Lee for Telecoms Korea.

"KTF said,” Even though two of every three Koreans have mobile phones, the elderly feel helpless when they use the ever-evolving mobile phones. It's a new kind of marginalization in this information society and that's why we started the program."

Nice.
