India Cell phone jammers in all jails
Taking into account the misuse of cell phones by Rashtriay Janata Dal leader Pappu Yadav in Beur jail (he made 670 calls), the Indian Supreme Court in principle on Tuesday decided that mobile phone jammers should be installed in all jails across the country, reports Rediff.
"Yadav is in jail in connection with the murder of Communist Party of India-Marxist MLA Ajit Sarkar in 1998."
