More on Using Cellphones In Flight
Although it seems certain the government will approve the use of cellphones on commercial flights, it seems to be a stretch to think that an airplane cabin will be filled with people jabbering away on their phones. Recent research indicates that only about 10% of people will spend time talking on their phones—most respondents said they want to use their smartphones to surf the Web, send text messages, or read and respond to their e-mails.
