The mobile phone you've just called is unattended ...
South Pacific Tyres implemented today the first deal reached in the Australian Industrial Relations Commission which prevents its workers from using mobiles while at work, reports The Sydney Morning Herald.
According to a related article in The Age, "the decision by South Pacific Tyres follows an altercation in April between a supervisor and employee who was holding a mobile phone while driving a fork lift.
Both men made stress-related workers compensation claims and the issue went to the Australian Industrial Relations Commission."
