French operator launches offer for the blind
French mobile operator Orange is launching a new programme for blind people.
The service features a free voice recognition software enabling the user to read and send SMS, select the options on the phone menu, manage the calls and the addresses.
The user also get the "dixit" option that offer a free and illimited voice follow-up, cheaper fares to call Orange information centre and the service that provides SMS dictation.
The French operator also sends bills written in broad letters or in Braille language.
