Romania bans SMS jokes about candidates to the Presidency

According to telefonos moviles, Romanian authorities have banned text messages featuring offensive comments about the candidates for the country's Presidency.

Unfortunately, no precision was given about the way to enforce the prohibition in a country that counts 8 milions mobile phone users, some of them having already texted and spread jokes about the main candidates.

One of those messages advises people not to vote for Prime Minister Adrian Nastase, because if he wins "Rumanians will have to emigrate to Africa."
