Italy's Banca Intesa offers SMS banking

Italy's Banca Intesa is working with Vodafone to provide mutual customers with routine banking inquiries via text messaging, reports Finextra.

"The service "Intesa on line Mobile" offers customers information on deposit and credit card balances and share values. Users can also request alerts for when their balance goes above or below a certain amount or when their credit card is used."
