BT Launches Cellphone Service

Britain's BT re-entered the mobile-phone market, launching its own branded cellphone service on Vodafone's network as it looks to boost revenue with its fixed-line business in decline., reports the WSJ.

"Vodafone, the cellphone-service provider based in Newbury, England, will provide the network for BT Mobile while BT will handle marketing, branding, billing and customer service."
