Suicide driver made calls on mobile as he waited for express to hit him

nuft09a.jpg Mobile phone calls made by a man moments before his car was hit by a train on a level crossing may provide vital clues for police investigating the tragedy in which seven people died, reports the UK Telegraph.

The conversations he had may shed light on the state of mind of Brian Drysdale, 48, identified by police last night as the driver of the car struck by the train as it travelled at 100mph near the Berkshire village of Ufton Nervet.
