Ad Supported Snow Alerts

Skiers and Snowboarders can get snow conditions for nearly 500 mountain resorts across the USA, reports Mike Grenville for 160characters.org.

"SnoCountry Mountain Reports has partnered with SMS Media Group (SMSMG) to produce Mobile Snow Reports using text messaging.

The snow reports include the name of the resort, time, the base inches, type of snow, percentage of open terrain, number of open lifts, and a phone number for the resort.

The reports are sent first thing in the morning and then again throughout the day if snow conditions change.

The reports include sponsorship at the bottom of the messages enabling the service to be free for subscribers."
