US Lottery Results Now Delivered to Cell Phones

I bet this service will do very well!

SMS Media Group Inc. goes live with a new text messaging service that distributes nationwide state lottery results to mobile phones. The service is made possible through a strategic relationship with Games Inc. a leading provider of lottery and games content, according to a company
press release.

"The new text alert service is being offered to North American cell phone subscribers. Approximately 200 games in some 40 states and Canada are now available for Lottery.com and SMSMG.com users to sign up to.

To obtain the alerts, users must subscribe using a confirmed opt-in process that authenticates their cell phone.

The service is free for subscribers to receive, with the exception of messaging fees a carrier may charge. The lottery results will include sponsorship at the bottom of the messages.
