extremely fast mobile phones thanks to single atom
Scientists at Manchester University have revealed a groundbreaking discovery that could lead to safer cars, better computers and faster mobile phones, reports Manchester Online.
On the day the Queen opened the city's merged "super university" it was disclosed that Manchester researchers have produced the world's thinnest material, just a single atom thick, yet super strong.
It could lead to the development of a whole range of products including ultra-safe car chassis, thin and flexible bullet proof vests, tiny but very powerful computers and extremely fast mobile phones.
