New SMS spoken by robot

Robots are reading out SMS messages to UK landline phone customers who don't have a mobile phone, reports The Australian

"Not being able to read an SMS, the recipient on the landline will hear it spoken by a synthesised female voice.

The service -- which is already up and running -- is currently available to users on the Vodafone, T-Mobile, BT Mobile, 3 and O2 networks."
