Mobile Banking Takes Momentum in Korea

skt_kb.jpg The biggest bank of Korea, Kookmin Bank and the biggest mobile carrier, SK Telecom enter into an alliance in mobile banking, brightening prospect of the industry, reports Telecoms Korea.

"SK Telecom and Kookmin Bank concluded an agreement Thursday that had lasted since July and will sell “M-Bank” handset of SK Telecom in 600 branches of Kookmin Bank from October. SK Telecom targets to issue more than 200,000 chips through its partner."
