Hey - send me a voicemail, Anita!
"The combination of Text messaging and voice mail is particularly interesting because each counterbalances the deficiencies of the other. For example, not all age groups find it easy to use their thumbs and number keypads for typing, but recording a message is simple, and with a little intonation it carries far more emotion than text messaging.
Unlike a direct voice call, which may or may not be answered by a single recipient, a voice message is stored and can be picked up and listened to by a defined group of recipients. From the recipient's perspective, this is far less intrusive than a call, with just a beep like any other incoming message."
